Overview of Spray Alert

The attached PDF (below) was originally used to introduce this Ning community back in the early days of the Light Brown Apple Moth crisis. (That is when a little Australian moth was discovered in California, affectionately known as the "LBAM", that threatened to kill off all the entire agriculture industry of North America.. ;-) A lot of momentum happened then with several groups forming to spread the word and keep the crop dusters away from urban areas in Northern California. The battle is far from over though. Just read the newsfeeds and discussion here, or check out the many other sites like Vegan Reader for the latest on this topic.

Now, we must rebuild on that momentum and try to share our ideas, photos, videos, news, and inspiration to promote related causes, like organic farming and reductions in the uses of pesticides.
